The S22 M protective spring support is specially designed to accommodate a 22 mm diameter cork handle.
While handling your leather piece or when you are no longer using a 1022 T handle, insert it into the safety spring. By holding it vertically, you prevent the hot iron from coming into contact with your leather piece or your skin.
To ensure the durability of your iron, we recommend that you handle it with care. As with a soldering iron, make sure that it is not at an angle when you insert or remove it from the holder. You must avoid the resistive net touching the spirals, which could cause a short circuit.
For a tidy workshop and neat tools, the S22M support has three small, very practical holes at the front of its base. They allow you to simply store the three irons that you use the most. You thus always keep them within reach.
