FAQ

If you would like to create a brass claw engraved with your model, we invite you to send us an email to regad@regad.fr:

  • Your full contact details (LAST NAME/First name or Company, delivery/billing address, telephone number, etc.),
  • A computer model of your logo: vectorized in PDF or AI format, clear and in black on a white background,
  • The dimensions of your model (proportional to your products),
  • The type(s) of leather you wish to mark, namely that the smoother your leather, the better your marking result will be,
  • The type(s) of markings you wish to make, namely: direct on leather and/or with gilding paper (this information is intended to advise you as best as possible regarding your logo, it has no impact on the creation of the
    brass claw),
  • The device on which the brass claw will be used
    (1 or 2 output transformer/marking machine, etc.).

If you would like to create a brass composter with interchangeable characters, we invite you to send us an email at regad@regad.fr:

  • The height and number of characters/numbers/special characters desired,
  • The maximum number of characters you want to mark,
  • The desired font,
  • The device on which the brass composter will be used (1 or 2 output transformer/marking machine, etc.).

For manual marking you will need:

  • A transformer reference M3000 1 output or reference M6000 2 outputs,
  • Cork leather handles, diameter 29 mm, reference 1002T,
  • A heating resistor reference Hot Brand to receive the brass claw,
  • A brass claw or composter with interchangeable characters.

For assisted marking, you will need:

  • A machine reference AT300W with digital temperature display and heating plate,
  • A threaded steel rod to receive a brass claw or composter and to attach to the heating plate of the AT300W machine.
