How to make a Regad tool, step by step

01

Pattern making, cutting & welding

The birth of a leather finishing tool begins with the precise machining of the tool and the cutting of its functional part.
Then, our team ensures the welding of this part directly on the “backbone” of the tool. This first step builds solid foundations, guaranteeing quality and robustness to our tools.

02

Punching, finishing & assembly

Under Philippe's expert hand, each iron is manually stamped, demonstrating our commitment to artisanal manufacturing.

Then, our team carefully brushes and polishes the functional part, followed by the precise assembly of the tool and the assembly of the different elements.

03

Winding, heating and packaging

Once the pieces are assembled, Aurélien winds the resistance wire around the “rod” and proceeds to wind it around the blade.

Finally, we perform spot welding and tool heating, ensuring optimum technical performance before packaging.

At Regad, each tool is a perfect alliance between tradition and innovation, forged with passion and precision.
